Hailing from San Antonio’s epicenter of creativity, the Southtown Arts District, the brand has been built in a place synonymous with culture and quality. While its historic, hardworking & hardwearing attitude fuels our passion for creating clothing that will stand the test of time, the creativity of this community adds some Texas flair to that flame.

Founded by husband and wife team, Chad & Mari Belew in 2022.
They opened the first little retail store in August 2023. Chad grew up riding dirt bikes his whole life, and Mari has just a badass since birth. After meeting while both serving in the U.S. Army, one of the first things they did as a married couple was go buy motorcycles together and the rest is history.

"Why Heretic?" is a question we get quite a bit, and we get it. For most of us, if you've heard the word at all, it's only been in some religious context, but that's not the only meaning for it.
A Heretic is someone whose beliefs or actions are considered wrong by most people, because they disagree with beliefs that are generally accepted.
Those that push the limits and the bounds of what's "normal" in society are often labeled as Heretics. You've probably heard the phrase, "Motorcycles are dangerous." Most of society would probably agree with that sentiment. For those of us that throw our leg over a moto though, we know that motorcycles can be life-giving! Life is dangerous. Why not enjoy it while we're here!
